PromPony aims to be a safe and inclusive environment and supporting everyone to ensure that they can have the best possible experiences. Six key elements of our Reporting Feature help us ensure that everyone who uses our app can have total control over their online interactions.

Our Community Principles are Kindness, Authenticity, Courage, and Empathy. You would expect nothing less from your best friends and family. We also expect everyone in our community (and PromPony family) to abide by and aspire to these values—on (and ideally off) the app.

Safety is our Priority
We want everyone to be safe, both physically and mentally. We use a combination of algorithms and machine-learning-driven technology managed by content moderators to maintain the safety and integrity of the PromPony experience. If anyone submits a report, our moderators and automated systems take action or escalate the case to our Senior Moderators and Safety Specialists that determine the appropriate actions. This can include cautions, warnings, controls, suspensions and even removal from our platform.

 

Strong Reporting Tools
You have controls that allow you to Block or Unblock any other User at any time. You can also report someone at any stage of your experience. The moment someone is reported, we can ensure that you never see each other’s profile again. Reporting is anonymous to protect your safety.
 

No Addresses
We never provide your address / details to any other User. Your general location is only used to allow you to communicate with friends in your area – you decide / control whether to meet anyone – at a place of your choosing. Always bring a friend / family to a public location to keep everyone safe. Always tell someone where you will be / who you are meeting with. Always report a less than acceptable interaction. Always report to Police / Parents / Authorities if deemed appropriate.

 

Frequent Check-In
Always check-in with friends and family about any meet-up. If it is inappropriate conduct – let everyone know. Use the PromPony reporting functions to keep all PromPony Users safe. The feedback is private and helps keep the PromPony community safe and respectful.

 

Respectful Community
The PromPony team does not tolerate abusive, insulting, threatening, or discriminatory behavior. This includes falsely reporting bad behaviour that didn’t occur. False reports undermine our community values and will lead to suspension and / or removal from the PromPony platform.
